Disney Revenue Surges 6.8% in Fiscal Q3 2026 Driven by ESPN Growth
The Walt Disney Company has reported a 6.8% increase in revenue during its fiscal third quarter, which corresponds to the second calendar quarter of 2026. This growth was driven by year-over-year gains across the company's Entertainment, Sports, and Experiences divisions.
The Entertainment segment saw a 6.0% rise in revenue to $11.3 billion, while the Sports segment experienced a 4.5% increase to $4.5 billion. The Experiences division was the fastest-growing business, with a 9.7% jump in revenue to $10 billion.
Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro emphasized the importance of ESPN's direct-to-consumer strategy and its investment in the streaming ecosystem. He stated that the company plans to deliver a more robust subset of games for Disney+ subscribers beginning this fall, anchored by additional college football simulcasts.
