Disney Revives Animation Legacy at Hollywood Studios
The Walt Disney Company is revamping its beloved historical attractions at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. A new attraction called The Magic of Disney Animation has opened, replacing Star Wars Launch Bay.
The new attraction pays homage to the art and legacy of Disney animation, allowing guests to meet their favorite characters and learn about the process of creating animated films.
The space is designed to resemble the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California, with character statues and Grauman's Chinese Theatre-style cement blocks featuring hand- or paw-prints of various Disney characters.
One of the standout features of The Magic of Disney Animation is Olaf Draws!, where guests can draw their favorite Disney characters with the help of an Audio-Animatronics figure of Olaf and on-screen Disney Legends.
