Disney Revives Nostalgia with Exclusive Captain EO Fuzzball Plush
Disney has brought back a piece of its nostalgic past with the release of an exclusive Fuzzball plush in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Captain EO. The 11.5-inch tall plush features a soft body, plastic tail and wings, and button-activated sounds that mimic the chirping of Fuzzball.
The Captain EO film, which starred Michael Jackson, premiered at Disney theme parks in the 1980s. It followed an intergalactic crew as they visited a strange world to use music and performance to save it from the devious Supreme Leader. Fuzzball, one of the alien crew members, made a notable appearance and later appeared in the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
The new plush is available online and in Disney Parks for fans to collect or gift to others who are just discovering Captain EO's charm. This interactive toy celebrates not only the beloved film but also the iconic character of Fuzzball, bringing a nostalgic touch back into homes and collections.
