Disney Revives Physical Stores with Two New Locations
Disney is reviving its physical store presence in the US, following viral rumors in the spring that the new CEO would prioritize brick-and-mortar locations. The company has announced two new Disney Store Limited Time locations: one in Paramus, New Jersey at Westfield Garden State Plaza Mall and another in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Ross Park Mall.
The stores are part of a partnership between Disney and Go! Retail Group, which also manages Toys”R”Us and Calendars.com. The new locations feature favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters, including immersive designs and products only available through the Disney Store.
Each store has unique offerings, such as New Jersey-themed merchandise and in-store experiences like a 'magic mirror' that shows characters dropping in from their worlds.
