Disney+ Rolls Out Playlists Feature Globally
The Walt Disney Company has introduced a new feature on its streaming platform, Disney+, called Playlists. These curated collections of episodes and movies allow subscribers to easily discover content and keep watching without having to choose titles one by one.
Instead of selecting individual titles, users can pick from pre-made playlists organized by genre, franchise, character, or mood. Each playlist features automatic shuffled playback with full playback controls for pausing, skipping, rewinding, or fast-forwarding at any time.
The new feature is designed to make it easier for subscribers to spend less time searching and more time enjoying the content on Disney+. Seasonal playlists will also be available throughout the year, featuring themed collections for occasions like Halloween.
All U.S. Disney+ subscribers can still access the previously launched 24/7 ABC News livestream, as well as local market streams from eight ABC Owned Television Station's featuring live newscasts and weather updates.
