Disney Scales Back Hours at New Attractions Just Two Weeks After Opening

The Magic of Disney Animation area in Disney's Hollywood Studios has been experiencing a soft opening since its conversion from Star Wars Launch Bay. Four new attractions, including Olaf Draws! and Once Upon a Studio Theater, are set to officially open on September 14th.

However, just two weeks later, on September 28th, the hours for these attractions will be significantly reduced. According to the Disney World website and My Disney Experience App, Olaf Draws! will change from opening at 9 AM to 8:30 PM to 10 AM to 6 PM, a reduction of 3.5 hours. Once Upon a Studio Theater's hours will also decrease by four hours, from 9 AM to 9 PM to 10 AM to 6 PM.

The reduced hours are likely to cause long lines and crowds at these attractions, especially during peak holiday seasons. The outdoor courtyard area of the Magic of Disney Animation will remain open for all park hours.
