Disney Sees Strong Q3 Results on 'Toy Story' and US Park Attendance
Disney's financials have taken a positive turn in its third quarter results, driven by the massive success of 'Toy Story 5' at the box office and the resurgence of US theme park attendance.
The company reported operating income rose 20% to $3.02 billion for its Experiences division, which includes Disney's six global theme parks, cruises, merchandise, and video game licensing revenue reached $9.97 billion during the quarter.
'Toy Story 5' has already generated over $1 billion at the box office globally, contributing to a strong performance in consumer products revenue for Disney, with its strongest quarterly year-over-year growth in 20 quarters.
