Disney Sets Release Dates for Toy Story 5 Home Video Formats
The Walt Disney Co. has announced home release dates for Pixar's Toy Story 5. The film will be available digitally on August 18, and on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD disc on September 22.
Toys Story 5 earned $1.09 billion at the global box office, including $470.7 million domestically. The home release includes bonus materials such as a commentary by co-director Kenna Harris, production designer Bob Pauley and VFX supervisor Thomas Jordan; five deleted sequences with an introduction by director Andrew Stanton and Harris; a gag reel; and four featurettes.
A limited-edition combo pack will be available for the film on 4K and regular Blu-ray discs plus a digital copy in Steelbook packaging. This edition includes artwork depicting Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Bullseye alongside the new tech characters including Lilypad and Smarty Pants.
