Disney Skyliner Refurbishments Planned for 2027 and 2028

The Disney Skyliner, an aerial gondola transportation system connecting EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios to several nearby resort hotels, will undergo refurbishment in 2027 and 2028. The first closure is scheduled for January 24-30, 2027, with the last day to ride being January 23. Alternate bus transportation will be provided during this time.

The Skyliner's typical refurbishment dates have been consistent over the years, with closures usually occurring in late January. The system was closed from January 22-29 in 2023 and January 16-26 in 2024. There were no closures in 2025.

For the second closure, scheduled for January 24 to February 2, 2028, the last day to ride will be January 23, and it will reopen on February 3. Guests can use boat transportation during this time or take an alternate bus.
