Disney Sparks Speculation with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Permit Filing
Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios has sparked speculation after a construction permit was filed by the park's Sourcing & Procurement department. The permit, which was filed on August 26 and expires in one year, contracts Buena Vista Construction Company to provide labor, materials, and/or electrical services for an unspecified project.
The reimagined ride reopened this May after being revamped from its previous incarnation as Aerosmith-themed attraction. The new permit has raised questions about the nature of the project, with some speculating that it may be a maintenance-related initiative unrelated to the recent retheming.
