Disney Springs Loses Longtime Restaurant as Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Closes
The iconic Disney Springs restaurant, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, is closing its doors permanently on September 14, 2026. The news marks the end of a 29-year collaboration between Disney and celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
Puck's culinary presence in Walt Disney World began in 1997 when he helped launch Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs) with two restaurants: Wolfgang Puck Express and Wolfgang Puck Grand Café.
The table service restaurant, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, opened in a new location in 2018. It will serve its final meal on September 13, offering brunch from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and dinner from 3:05 PM to 10:00 PM.
The permanent closure is part of a series of recent dining changes at Disney Springs, including the closure of Sunshine Churros in September. However, new concepts are on the horizon, such as Level99, an adult playground with a two-story bar, and Six Ravens, specializing in savory and sweet hand pies.
The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is currently underway until November 21, offering guests exclusive menus and events throughout Walt Disney World.
