Disney Springs Loses Wolfgang Puck After Quiet Closure Announcement

The Walt Disney World website has quietly announced that Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill will close at Disney Springs on September 14th. The restaurant, which opened in November 2018, is listed as closed starting from this date with no reservations available after September 13th. Despite the closure, neither Disney nor Wolfgang Puck's team have made any public statements about the decision.

The news comes as a surprise to many, as Wolfgang Puck has been a staple at Disney Springs since 1997 when the original Grand Café opened at Downtown Disney. The current location in the Town Center neighborhood was rebuilt after the original closed in August 2017 and underwent significant renovations before reopening.

Guests who have reservations for September 14th onward will still be able to see them in their My Disney Experience account, but there has been no communication from either party about the closure. It remains unclear what will happen to the space after the restaurant closes its doors.
