Disney Sued Over Alleged On-Set Abuse of Former Child Actress

Former child actress Raquel Lee has filed a lawsuit against Disney alleging she was sexually assaulted by an employee while filming 'The Poof Point' in 2001. At the time, Lee was just 14 years old.

The lawsuit claims that a middle-aged Disney staff member gave her alcohol and assaulted her in a Utah hotel room under false pretenses. The employee allegedly invited Lee and her guardian to his room to practice lines for the movie.

Lee's legal team emphasizes the need for accountability in the entertainment industry, stating 'This conduct is inexcusable, and those involved, directly or indirectly, must be held accountable.'
