Disney Sued Over Alleged Racial Discrimination in Workplace
A former IT support engineer at Disney Studios in Burbank has filed a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Co. and Capgemini America Inc., alleging racial discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
The plaintiff, William Lacks, claims that his Latino team leader made derogatory remarks about Black people, refused to collaborate with him, and favored newer Latino employees.
Lacks was the only Black employee in his department and worked for both companies from 2017 until his termination in November 2025. He alleges that he suffered lost wages and emotional distress due to the alleged workplace discrimination.
