Disney Taps Microsoft Vet Jennifer Creegan as Head of Marketing Tech
The Walt Disney Company has appointed Jennifer Creegan as its new Head of Marketing Technology and Operations. This newly created position is part of the company's efforts to evolve its global marketing organization, according to a press release.
Creegan will join Disney on September 7th and report directly to Asad Ayaz, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer. In her role, she will partner across various Disney businesses, including film and television, streaming, sports, parks, and experiences, games, and consumer products.
Ayaz stated that Creegan's expertise in combining technology and data with innovative marketing approaches will be invaluable in creating a connected Disney experience for fans. Creegan joins Disney from Microsoft, where she led Strategy, Business Planning & Insights for Xbox and helped shape business strategy across product, content, and monetization.
Creegan has over two decades of experience at Microsoft Advertising and was recognized as one of the leaders in her field when named to the Adweek 50 in 2023. Her appointment marks another step in Disney's evolution of its global marketing organization and reflects the company's focus on creating a more connected experience for fans.
