Disney+ Taps The Last Kids on Earth to Replace Stranger Things
Disney+ is developing a live-action supernatural series that could be seen as a replacement for Netflix's popular show Stranger Things.
The new show, based on Max Brallier's 10-book children's series The Last Kids on Earth, will be produced in collaboration with Disney Channel.
The story follows a group of teen friends who must band together to take on monstrous creatures from other dimensions in a post-apocalyptic world.
The show is expected to have a lower budget than Stranger Things and may carry a lower age rating due to its target audience of children aged 8-12.
