Disney Teams Up with Popular Creator Dhar Mann for New Family-Friendly Content
The Walt Disney Company has signed a content deal with Dhar Mann Studios, focusing on creating original content for kids, tweens, teens, and families. The first project under this partnership is a 20-episode series order that will be produced by Dhar Mann Studios for Disney.
Dhar Mann Studios boasts an impressive digital audience, with over 27.5 million subscribers on YouTube alone, as well as more than 170 million followers globally and nearly 300 million views each week across platforms.
'Dhar has built a distinctive voice and an enormous global following,' said Asad Ayaz and Debra OConnell in a joint statement. 'He and his team have forged an extraordinary connection with their audience, and we believe their optimistic, deeply relatable storytelling will connect in a meaningful way with Disney fans.'
This marks Dhar Mann Studios' second content deal with a major media company, following its earlier agreement with Fox Entertainment for a 40-title microseries. The production hub has also recently purchased a new campus in Los Angeles, which it plans to transition into by 2027.
