Disney Teams Up with TikTok for Creator-Friendly Content Deal
The Walt Disney Company and TikTok have struck a deal allowing social media creators on TikTok to use Disney characters in their videos. This new agreement will give users access to memorable scenes and moments from Disney movies and shows, including Pixar, Marvel, 'Star Wars,' FX, and more.
The content created under this deal will be featured on both TikTok and Verts, the new Disney+ vertical video feed. Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer at The Walt Disney Company, celebrated fans' ability to tell stories in a statement, saying 'The best storytellers are fans first.'
The partnership also includes the Disney Creator Ambassador Program, which will enable creators to unlock special rewards and provide them with increased visibility, access to exclusive events, and career development pathways.
