Disney Teams with TikTok to Bring More Vertical Videos to Disney+
The Walt Disney Company has partnered with TikTok to bring more creator-made vertical videos to its streaming app, Disney+.
The partnership will give certain creators access to hundreds of Disney movies and television shows for use in short-form videos that will appear on both the social media platform and the Verts feed on Disney+.
The effort aims to boost engagement and reduce churn on the Disney+ app, which is part of CEO Josh D'Amaro's plan to make the app the 'digital centerpiece' of the company.
