Disney Tightens Rules for Guest-Initiated Activities at Fort Wilderness Resort

The Magic Kingdom resort area in Disney World has introduced new rules for guests staying at its Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The changes, which were reportedly handed out to guests on a revised 'Campsite and Cabin Rules' sheet, specifically address what Disney calls 'Guest-Initiated Activities'. According to the new policy, guests are no longer allowed to set up unofficial vendor stalls or organize their own happy hours without prior written approval from Disney.

The updated rules come after a previous crackdown on electric bikes at the resort. Now, guests who want to host events or activities must get permission in writing beforehand. If they don't, Disney reserves the right to cancel or restrict the event without notice or refund.

The changes reflect an effort by Disney to formalize its policies and keep peace among guests at the resort.
