Disney Unveils 13 New Theme Park Projects at D23 Expo
Disney is gearing up to unveil its latest theme park projects at the D23 fan event in Anaheim this week. The three-day expo kicks off on Friday, Aug. 14, with a Disney Parks presentation scheduled for Saturday night at the Honda Center.
The 'Horizons: A Carousel of Progress' showcase will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. Pacific time on Saturday night on the Disney+ streaming service. The presentation is expected to reveal details about Disney's 13 biggest projects, including new attractions, shows, and themed lands coming to Disneyland, Disney World, and parks around the globe.
Some of the key projects that will be showcased include the Marvel Multiverse E-ticket attraction coming to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. The attraction is currently under construction, with fans eager to learn more about its storyline and potential opening date.
Other notable projects include the Coco boat ride planned for Pixar Pier, the Avatar experience coming to Disney California Adventure, and the Tomorrowland makeover scheduled for Disneyland. Fans are also expecting updates on nighttime entertainment options, including the possible return of the Main Street Electrical Parade.
