Disney Unveils Ambitious Expansion Plans for Parks Around the World

Disney has dropped 19 park expansion announcements at its recent D23 event. The expansions will take place in Disney parks around the world, including Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, and Disney World.

The Avengers Campus expansion in Hong Kong Disneyland is getting a new concept art featuring Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Thor, and other superheroes. The land will include a 120-foot attraction that takes guests across realms like Asgard, Wakanda, and more.

Disney California Adventure is also adding to its Avengers Campus with new attractions, including Avengers Infinity Defense, where guests will have to cross the multiverse to help the Avengers stop Thanos. The expansion is slated to open in 2028.

Pueblo Esperanza, a land inspired by several movies, including Encanto and Indiana Jones, is getting three attractions: El Carrusel de los Animalitos, Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto, and Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent. The latter will feature an Animatronic based on Harrison Ford.

Other expansions include a Cars-themed land in Disney World, which will be home to dining, shopping, and two new attractions, including Miss Fritter's Daredevil Spin-Along and Cars Ridge Run Rally.
