Disney Unveils Future Experiences at D23 Showcase
The Disney Experiences Showcase at D23, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, offered an unforgettable look at the future of Disney Experiences. The event featured exciting new details, behind-the-scenes stories, and exclusive first looks at what's on the horizon.
Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences for The Walt Disney Company, welcomed the crowd and emphasized that fans remain at the heart of everything they do. He noted that events like this allow them to celebrate the incredible connection fans have with Disney while sharing their vision for the future.
The showcase included performances from GRAMMY Award-winning artists such as Sheryl Crow, Beck, Los Lobos, and Gloria Gaynor. It also featured a show-stopping opening tribute to Disney Audio-Animatronics, starring Darren Criss, Skylar Astin, Megan Hilty, Tig Notaro, and Jack McBrayer.
Some of the key announcements from the event include a second season of The Imagineering Story, set to debut on Disney+ next year. At Disneyland Resort, a refreshed version of the Remember… Dreams Come True nighttime spectacular will light up Disneyland park in February 2027.
