The dedication was made on Kirby's birthday, and Jeremy Kirby, one of Jack Kirby's grandsons, attended the unveiling. He described it as an 'amazing honor.'

Kirby was a legendary Marvel co-creator who helped shape the look and language of comic books with his iconic characters and concepts.
