Disney Unveils Lion King Log Flume Ride for Disneyland Paris

A new Lion King-themed log flume ride is under construction at Disneyland Paris's Walt Disney Adventure World, formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park. The ride will tell the story of Simba's rise from cub to king based on the original 1994 hand-drawn film.

The attraction will be indoors, featuring Audio-Animatronics figures depicting scenes from the movie, and culminate with an outdoor splashdown from atop Pride Rock. Riders will hear classic songs from the movie along the way.

This is the first Lion King ride in the world, and its construction was announced in 2024. The ride's format shares similarities with Disney's previous log flumes, but it will be built entirely new rather than converting an existing attraction.
