Disney Unveils Madame Leota's Swinging Wake as Oogie Boogie Bash Highlight

Disney has shared an early preview of Madame Leota's Swinging Wake, a new entertainment offering set to debut at Oogie Boogie Bash in 2026. The event is part of Disney California Adventure's Halloween festivities and replaces the Frightfully Fun Parade as the marquee processional entertainment.

The street party will take place on select nights from August 18 through October 31, with tickets still available for select dates at the time of the preview's release. The event features a range of Haunted Mansion characters, including the frightened Caretaker and the Tightrope Walker (AKA Sally Slater), as well as classic motifs such as the Watchful Busts and the endless hallway scene.

The new entertainment offering is part of Disney's ongoing efforts to revamp its Halloween events. While the Frightfully Fun Parade will not return this year due to construction at Disney California Adventure, other elements from the parade, such as Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman, will still be included in Oogie Boogie Bash.
