Disney Unveils Massive New Attractions for 2027
The Disney D23 Expo in California revealed a slew of new attractions and experiences coming to theme parks around the world, including Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and international parks. The event showcased upcoming projects like the Avengers Campus expansion at Disneyland with two new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
However, it seems that these highly anticipated additions won't be ready until 2028. To tide fans over, Disneyland will be bringing back some classic entertainment in 2027. The Remember... Dreams Come True nighttime show returns in February, followed by the return of World of Color at Disney California Adventure later that same month.
Magic Happens, a fan-favorite parade, is also set to make its comeback in summer 2027. Over at Walt Disney World, Imagineers are working on a Villains Land and two Cars rides at Magic Kingdom, with the Carousel of Progress getting a major modernization starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston.
The Animal Kingdom will undergo a makeover as well, featuring Indiana Jones, Encanto, and a carousel of beloved Disney animals. One notable update is that Disney will be fixing the animatronic Yeti from Expedition Everest's roller coaster, which has been experiencing structural issues since 2006.
