Disney Unveils New Attractions and Brings Back Yeti to Animal Kingdom
Disney has made several announcements about new attractions coming to its Animal Kingdom theme park. One of the most highly anticipated is Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, a ride that will take guests into the world of ancient Maya alongside Harrison Ford's iconic character.
The ride features groundbreaking audio-animatronic figures, including one of the Tsukán, a serpentine creature. Guests will have to navigate perilous dangers such as monstrous bats, larger-than-life scorpions, fire and flame, and snakes. The storyline is an original one that promises to transport visitors into the heart of an ancient jungle.
Another new attraction announced for Animal Kingdom is Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto, which will feature voice actors reprising their roles from the popular movie Encanto. This ride will allow guests to experience the vibrant culture and music of Colombia in a way that combines excitement with authenticity.
The yeti, which was once a beloved part of the Expedition Everest attraction at Animal Kingdom, has been brought back to life after nearly 20 years. The audio-animatronic figure has been repaired and is now able to move again, delighting fans who had grown fond of this mysterious creature.
