Disney Unveils New Attractions and Lands for Walt Disney World Resort

At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California, Disney Experiences unveiled new details about several upcoming attractions and lands at Walt Disney World Resort.

The announcements included Monstropolis, a new land coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios, which will be themed around the Monsters, Inc. franchise.

Additionally, Villains Land is set to open at Magic Kingdom, featuring attractions and experiences inspired by Disney's iconic villains.

Another new area will be dedicated to the Cars franchise, while the classic attraction Carousel of Progress will receive an update with a new scene set in the 1980s as part of its story evolution from the 1960s through present day and beyond.

The iconic Yeti Audio-Animatronics figure is also returning to life in Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, while guests can experience Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto at Animal Kingdom, a celebration inspired by the Disney-Pixar film Encanto.
