Disney Unveils New Projects at D23 Convention
Disney announced a slew of new projects at its D23 convention in Anaheim, California. Among the reveals was the redesign of Tomorrowland at Disneyland, which will feature multiple new attractions and more open spaces.
Fans had waited two years for the latest round of Disney announcements about its parks and cruises, and while some expressed disappointment that timelines were not provided, others were excited by the prospect of revamped classic attractions. The revamped Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom's will feature voice work from Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston.
The company also teased new projects such as Villains Land at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, which will include two rides, a 'Maleficent'-themed roller coaster, and a journey below the Evil Queen's palace. A new 'Cars' area called Piston Peak, featuring two rides, was also announced.
