Disney Unveils Star-Studded Fall Film Slate
The Walt Disney Company has announced its fall theatrical slate for 2026, featuring a mix of re-releases, documentaries, and new films. The schedule kicks off with the 20th anniversary re-release of Pixar's Cars on September 4, coinciding with Lightning McQueen Day.
Next up is the documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, which follows the reunion tour of the rock band Oasis. The film will be released on September 11 and will feature unprecedented access to the band's performances.
In late September, Marvel Studios' Avengers Endgame will return to theaters for an encore release. This time around, fans will get a look at the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film, set to arrive in December.
The fall slate also includes two IMAX releases: Portrait of an Artist: Stephen Curry and Everest: The Other Side. The former is a documentary about the NBA star's historic night, while the latter follows elite ski mountaineers as they attempt to climb Mount Everest from the North Face route.
