Disney+ Unveils Star-Studded Lineup for August
Disney+ is gearing up for another packed month of new TV shows and movies in August. The streaming service has announced an impressive lineup that caters to diverse tastes, including Star Wars, X-Men, Pokémon, Disney Princesses, and even League of Legends.
The month kicks off with the continuation of Lollapalooza livestreams, WNBA games on Women's Sports Sundays, and select PGA Tour livestreams. The 2026 LoL KeSPA Cup will also be live-streamed exclusively on Disney+, featuring a ₩50 million prize pool.
August 5 marks the premiere of Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, which will drop all its episodes at once. X-Men '97 will continue to stream new episodes every Tuesday. Other notable premieres include Camp Rock 3 and LION, a docu-series produced by Jon Favreau and National Geographic.
Throughout the month, Disney+ will also debut new episodes of various TV shows, including King & Prince: Our Meet-Up in LA, A Shop for Killers Season 2, Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro, and Project Runway Season 22. World Princess Week will begin on August 16, featuring a Disney Princess concert celebration and new spin-off episodes of Sofia the First.
