Disney Unveils Sweeping Updates for Walt Disney World Parks

Disney has unveiled a slew of updates and new attractions for its Walt Disney World parks. Magic Kingdom will receive a 'Villains Land' area, featuring two attractions, as well as an update to the classic Carousel of Progress ride.

The Carousel of Progress is undergoing refurbishment and will introduce four new decades, along with a new scene featuring Florida-based Audio-Animatronics figures, set to debut in late spring 2027. The beloved matriarch and patriarch of the family, Sarah and John, will be voiced by Disney Legend Jamie Lee Curtis and award-winning actor Bryan Cranston.

The 'Cars' area is also getting an update with two new attractions: 'Miss Fritter's Daredevil Spin-Along' and 'Cars Ridge Run Rally.'
