Disney Unveils Visionary Projects Across Global Theme Parks
The Imagineering: Horizons pavilion at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event showcased various upcoming projects and attractions for Disney's theme parks around the world. One of the highlights was a Coco-themed attraction headed to Disney California Adventure, which featured a clever display titled Disneylandia that invited guests to share their Disneyland memories.
Another anticipated project is Avatar, with a model of the area coming to Disney California Adventure along with a mini ride vehicle mock up. The pavilion also featured a look at the additions to Avengers Campus, including Stark Flight Lab.
Moving abroad, there was a model of the Avengers Pavilion in Hong Kong Disneyland, featuring a new ride that is expected to be similar to Tower of Terror.
In Tokyo, visitors could get a behind-the-scenes look at two new attractions coming to Tomorrowland. Back in the US, Walt Disney World projects were showcased, including Monstroplis and an updated Carousel of Progress.
