Disney Upgrades Pressed-Penny Machines Across Walt Disney World Resort
Walt Disney World Resort is replacing its old pressed-penny machines across various locations, including Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, and Disney Springs. This upgrade effort began several years ago and aims to provide a more modern experience for guests.
The new machines have digital screens and preloaded blank copper discs ready for pressing. Guests can select one design for $1 cash or purchase the complete set of eight for $5 using either cash or card.
Two new machines have recently been installed at Disney Springs, one inside World of Disney and the other near the Art Corner store in the Marketplace neighborhood.
