Disney Voluntears Pack Meals to Honor 9/11 Day of Service
The 9/11 National Day of Service was marked by Disney Voluntears packing meals for charity at the Intrepid Museum in Manhattan. This event honored the spirit of unity and service that arose after the attacks, which was first conceived in 2002.
Among those volunteering were Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro, Debra OConnell, Chairman of Disney Entertainment Television, Kevin Martinez of ESPN, and Almin Karamehmedovic of ABC News. They packed meals as part of their efforts to give back on this federally recognized national day of service.
