Disney Volunters Pack Meals to Honor 9-11 Day of Service
The anniversary of the 9-11 attacks has been transformed into a national Day of Service. To honor this spirit, Disney's 'Voluntears' packed meals for charity at the Intrepid Museum in Manhattan on Friday.
A group from Disney and ESPN participated in the event. This included Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro and Debra OConnell, Chairman of Disney Entertainment Television.
The idea to make September 11 a day of service was first conceived in 2002.
