Tomorrow marks the end of an era for Disney World fans who have been collecting digital achievements in the Play Disney Parks app. The app, which has been around since 2018, will be permanently retired on September 16, 2026.

The app allowed guests to earn rewards and badges by completing various tasks and challenges throughout the parks. However, this feature is being discontinued, and users will no longer be able to log in or access their saved progress after tomorrow.

One of the most notable features that will be lost with the app's retirement is the Star Wars: Datapad experience in Galaxy's Edge. This interactive experience allowed guests to hack door panels, scan cargo crates, and translate Aurebesh language found on signage.

Batuu Bounty Hunters, another feature within the app, will continue to work normally, but its app component will be discontinued. Guests who have been interacting with the Fab 50 statues at Walt Disney World using a MagicBand+ will still be able to do so, but the Disney Fab 50 Quest within the app will no longer be available.
