Disney World Celebrates Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month with Music, Merchandise, and More
Disney World has kicked off Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, celebrating from September 15 through October 15, 2026. Puerto Rican superstar Luis Fonsi joined Disney to begin this year's celebration, participating in various events throughout the resort.
Fonsi visited EPCOT for ¡Celebración Encanto!, where he met Mirabel and Bruno, and even rode his favorite attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. He also met Mickey Mouse, a clear Disney priority.
As part of the celebration, several Hispanic and Latin American artists will perform during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival. These include Latin Ambition, Grupo Mania, Metro Latino Band, Rey Ruiz, and Viva Latina.
The Magic Kingdom is also getting in on the action, featuring Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade with characters like Mirabel from Encanto, Miguel from Coco, Princess Elena of Avalor, José Carioca, and Panchito. Additionally, Walt Disney World Resort hotels may offer Hispanic and Latin American-inspired storytelling, music, dance, and films as part of select Movies Under the Stars experiences.
Disney is even releasing a new merchandise collection inspired by family, music, and tradition from Disney and Pixar's Coco. This collection includes items such as a Miguel mug, floral T-shirt, and colorful alebrije headband.
