Disney World Celebrates World Princess Week with Magical Events for Wish Kids
In celebration of World Princess Week, Walt Disney World hosted a magical event for wish kids at Give Kids The World Village. Thousands of children facing critical illnesses have chosen Disney Princess stories and characters as part of their wishes.
The event featured experiences inspired by beloved Disney Princess stories. Rapunzel invited kids to decorate paper lanterns, while Belle shared stories that highlighted bravery and kindness. Moana encouraged wish kids to create Heart of Te Fiti-inspired jewelry, and Princess Tiana led a lively second line parade with Louis.
Ny'lah, an Orlando wish kid who wished to meet Princess Tiana, was surprised by the Princess at Give Kids The World Village. She shared a big hug and stories of Mama Odie and the Bayou. This wish means a lot to me because it gives me a chance to be out of the hospital, and to be free and not worry.
Disney is the world's largest wish granter, helping make wishes come true for children facing critical illnesses around the world. The impact of World Princess Week extends beyond Give Kids The World, with celebrations happening across the globe.
