Disney World is gearing up for its peak season in September, but visitors should be aware of several closures across the parks and resort hotels. The Walt Disney World Railroad has been operating on a modified schedule since its expansion project began.

The train currently only stops at Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland stations due to the closure of Frontierland Station. No reopening date has been announced yet for this station.

Another popular attraction, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, is closed until 2027 as it undergoes major updates. The show will return with new content in the future, but visitors won't be able to enjoy it during their September trip.

For water park enthusiasts, Typhoon Lagoon will close on September 8th and remain shut down through September 9th for seasonal refurbishment. Blizzard Beach will remain open for those looking to cool off.
