Disney World Cracks Down on Pool Hopping at Florida Resorts
Walt Disney World has started cracking down on pool rules between resorts in Florida after more than three decades. The move is aimed at preventing 'pool hopping,' where guests visit and use pools at other resorts without staying there.
The new restrictions have been introduced at several Disney hotels, including Port Orleans Resort -- Riverside and Stormalong Bay. Guests are now required to show their resort reservation or receive a wristband from a Cast Member before accessing the pool area.
The change is part of Disney's efforts to enforce its pool policies more strictly. While the company has not explicitly stated its intentions, the move suggests that Disney is looking to maintain its exclusive amenities for its guests and prevent unauthorized access.
