Disney World Expansion Could Bring 2027 Ticket Prices to Record Levels
Walt Disney World is gearing up for major expansions in 2027, including Monstropolis at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Pueblo Esperanza at Animal Kingdom.
The new additions are expected to attract large crowds and drive demand during the holiday season, which could lead to higher ticket prices. According to Disney's current pricing model, a 10% increase would push Magic Kingdom's peak one-day ticket price from $219 to around $241.
Animal Kingdom's peak one-day ticket price would also rise significantly, potentially surpassing $200 for the first time. The new Tropical Americas area in Animal Kingdom will feature several attractions, including Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto and Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent.
The final two months of 2027 remain uncertain, as Disney has not released ticket prices for November and December yet. This could give the company room to establish higher peak prices if demand supports them.
