Disney World Expansion Unveils Multiple Theme Park Updates
Disney World in Florida is getting a massive expansion, with multiple theme park updates announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The excitement was palpable as fans gathered to hear about new attractions and lands that will be added across all four of Walt Disney's Florida parks.
The Magic Kingdom's Villains Land will be a major highlight, featuring two E-ticket attractions. One is a roller coaster themed around Maleficent's fortress, while the other is a dark ride set in the Mirror Realm hosted by the Magic Mirror.
Another notable announcement was for Piston Peak National Park, where Cars fans can look forward to racing through snowy peaks and dodging erupting geysers on 'Cars Ridge Run Rally.' A family-friendly flat ride called Miss Fritter's Daredevil Spin-Along will also be added.
