Disney World Fans Strategically Book Restaurants for Transportation Access
The upcoming year of 2027 is already generating buzz among Disney World fans, who are planning their trips in advance. Besides targeting specific attractions and experiences, guests are also booking restaurants strategically to access Disney's transportation network.
One such restaurant is Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary Resort, named after Disney World's opening year. The menu features classic dinner offerings like French Onion Soup, Prime Rib, and Filet Mignon, along with a selection of Disney family wines and cocktails reminiscent of the 1970s. A reservation here grants access to the Monorail.
Another popular eatery is the Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which has undergone refurbishment and is set to reopen in October 2026. This means it should be available for guests throughout all of 2027. A reservation here also offers access to the Monorail.
Other restaurants on Disney's transportation network include Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk Inn, Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort, and Boatwright's Dining Hall at the Port Orleans Resort, Riverside. These restaurants offer a range of cuisines, from classic breakfast dishes to upscale brunch options.
