Disney World Hosts Rare Diwali Celebration with Grand Parade

The highly anticipated Diwali Dance Fest is coming to Disney World's Magic Kingdom for three days in October. The celebration, which honors the Hindu festival of lights, will feature a rare Grand Diwali Parade on Friday, October 23rd. The parade will take place between 1-2 PM on Main Street USA and will showcase over 500 performers from around the world.

The three-day celebration, which runs from October 22nd to 25th, also includes an exclusive party at EPCOT for performers and their guests, as well as an International Dance Showcase in Disney's Animal Kingdom. The showcase will feature dazzling performances by 25 international dance studios, along with a special performance by TESHER.

Guests who want to attend the showcase must purchase both a park pass to Animal Kingdom and a showcase ticket, which can be bought online now. This is a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the fall and Halloween decorations in Magic Kingdom, or to combine it with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
