Disney World Overhauls Merchandise Shipping Policy

The Walt Disney World resort has implemented a new system for shipping merchandise to guests. As of September 1, the cost of shipping is no longer based on the value of the items being sent home.

Instead, guests choose a bag size that suits their needs, with prices ranging from $19.97 for an extra-small green bag to $49.97 for a large yellow bag.

The new system includes insurance up to $100 in declared value without an additional charge, and guests can purchase additional coverage for shipments valued up to $5,000.
