Disney World Prices Skyrocket as Heavy Fall Crowds Loom
Disney World is signaling an end to its low September crowds and low line-skipping fees. The resort's latest calendar update indicates that wait times will increase starting in early October, reflecting higher demand based on internal crowd projections.
The price hike affects all four theme parks, with Lightning Lane costs rising across the board. For example, Magic Kingdom's Multi Pass jumps from $23 to $35 per person, a 29.6% increase.
Several factors drive the transition from quiet September lanes to heavy October attendance. These include school fall breaks, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and long holiday weekends.
