The incident was captured in a video shared by Instagram user @mamamouseclubhouse, which shows the family being escorted through a backstage area by Disney cast members. The ride had been shut down temporarily due to the issue.
This is not an isolated incident, as numerous reports of technical issues affecting the former Splash Mountain attraction have surfaced in recent months. Guests have shared their negative experiences on social media, including one who claimed their child hit her head on a lap bar when the ride stopped suddenly.
