Disney World Skyliner Closes for Refurbishment in 2027 and 2028
The Disney World Skyliner will be closed for routine refurbishment from January 24th to 30th, 2027, and January 24th to February 2nd, 2028. This is in line with previous years, when the Skyliner has been closed around the same time for maintenance.
The closure affects guests staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These resorts offer direct access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios via the Skyliner, but during the closure, complimentary bus transportation will be available.
While some guests may not mind using buses instead of the Skyliner, others might prefer to stay at a different resort where they can still use the monorail or other forms of transportation. For those who were planning to rely on the Skyliner, it might be worth considering an alternative resort for their visit.
